"I AM A CREATOR OF FORMS, LIGHT AND COLOR"

- Antoni Carrera “Karris”, born in  Olot (Girona) 1963, studies in the school of Belles Arts of Olot in the decade of ’70. It takes private  lesons with the artists  “Garrido Marqueño” and “Montse Barros Amils”.
At the begninning of 2004 it resides in the city of New York and takes lesons in the prestigious school “The Drawing Center of New York”.             

Has exposet its works in a:

Olot, Palamós, Ripoll, Vic, Barcelona, Delft (Holland), Vianna do Castello (Portugal), Lisboa (Portugal), París (France), Bordeaux (France) i a les ciutats Nord Americanes de Nova York, Lafayette, Philadelphia i Washington D.C.
At the moment, its work is in the Gallery Tuset of Barcelona (in a collective exhibition). Proximity, in the month of October exposes in the Galeria Gora de Montreal (Canadà) and in the Montserrat Gallery of Nova York. Also been it has selected  to take part in the “Florence Biennale 2005” in the Italian  city  of Florence.

Last it has received praises of his work  in the Whitney Museum of American Art de NY.

Is posible to be found work in the Museum of Juventus F.C. in Torino (Italy). And the Consulate of  the United States  of Barcelona.

It has collaborated with the musical groups “Elèctrica Dharma” i “Stops”.

Decorated the pubs in  Platja d’Aro of  Brava Coast (Spain).

He is a lover of the forms, the light and the color, Is defined as Surrealista-Figuratiu-Mediterrani.
